Happy 26th Birthday Bean

Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You, You Smell Like A Monkey, and You Act Like One Too! We just wanted to wish a Happy Birthday to the best husband and father in the world. Jared we love you! Since it is your 26th birthday Kobe and I wrote 26 reasons why we love you. There are many many more, but you only get 26 reasons today. By the way, they are in no particular order.

1. He Loves Us. He constantly showers Kobe and I with kisses, hugs, and I love yous.
2. He is Patient. Man-O-Man is ever patient with his wife. I bet somedays he would just like to give me away.
3. He is a Hottie.Do I even need to explain? Look at those eyes, smile, and toosh.
4. He is a Provider. Jared will work 12-14 hour days. He has started his own business and has made it very successful in less than a 1 1/2 years.
5. He is Thoughtful. Jared is so thoughtful. He knows when I am having a bad day and sometimes when I come home from work totally exhausted he has cleaned the house and fixed dinner for me. What a man!
6. He is Fun to Be With. There is never a dull moment with this man! He loves to be on the go and wherever we go he makes sure we have a good time.
7. He is Smart. Jared never really liked school, but he is so smart. He is always reading and keeping up on the financial world and what events are going on around him.
8. He is Mr. Fix-it. I brake it and he fixes it.
9. He Loves to Take us On the Mountain. The mountain is definately Jared's heaven on earth and he loves to share it with us.
10. He Puts The Gospel and Family First. Jared is very strong in the gospel. He is such an example to me of how we should be living our lives.
11. He Is Strong. Have you seen those muscles!
12. He IS the Mighty Hunter. All I have to say is animals beware!
13. He is the Best Husband Ever. Jared would definitely swim over shark infested waters to bring me a glass of lemonade. He might not be happy about it, but he would do it.
14. He is Funny. Jared is the only one who can make me laugh until I can't breath and am crying because my stomache hurts so bad!
15. He Knows How to Make You Smile.
16. He is a Good StoryTeller. Kobe just loves it when Jared reads to him!
17. He is Creative.
18. He is a Good Cook. His omelets, cookies, and brownies put mine to shame!
19.He is a Hardworker. Anything Jared does is 125%.
20. He is An Example to Everyone He is Around.
21. He Gives Service. All you got to do is ask and he will help.
22. He is Caring. He always knows when you need a hug or a kiss.
23. He is a Chatter Box.It wasn't always like this, but Jared is no longer shy. I swear we can't go anywhere without his stopping and talking to someone for at least 15 minutes. I love this, because Jared makes sure each and every person feels important.
25. He Puts Other Before Himself. Time and time again I have seen Jared put his needs behind to help someone with theirs.
26. He is Determined. Anyone who knows Jared knows he is one determined man. Whatever Jared puts his mind to he accomplishes it whether it is getting his first hunting dog when he was little to starting his own business. He sets goals and he accomplishes them.

5 Friends Tag

So Candalyn tagged me so here it goes.

10 Years Ago I...
(Geez Candi, I bet this makes you feel really old!)
1. Was just entering 7th Grade. I can remember the night before school started my older brother told me that if I tried to come talk to him he would have his friends stick me in the trash! I avoided Dan at all costs (By the way Dan, I still luv ya.)
2. Was hoping to get a niece or nephew.
3. Went to Disneyland and Sea World.
4. Went to my first Junior High Dance. I read in my journal last night about how nervous I was to dance with Preston Mitchell (I had a crush on at the time). Man do times change!
5. Went hunting out to Pine Creek with our family. (We only did this a couple of times, but I had a lot of fun and it created a lot of good memories for me).

5 Things On My List To Do Today...
1. Wish Daniel a Happy Birthday! Man you are getting old!
2. Prepare Jared a really nice meal. Poor thing, I haven't felt too hot this week and he has really stepped in with taking care of Kobe and living on soup all week.
3. Clean my house.
4. Laundy. Laundry. Laundry. For only 3 of us at home we sure do have a lot of laundry!
5. Get Christmas Decorations Out. (Yes, I know it is early, but I am just too excited with it being Kobe's first Christmas).

5 Things I would Do If I Were A Millionaire...
1. Quit work right away so I could stay home with Kobe.
2. Hire someone to do my laundry!
3. Buy the property behind our house.
4. Take Jared to South Dakota hunting pheasants. He has always wanted to take his dogs and go Pheasant hunting in the Dakotas. I would also take all of our families to Hawaii. They all deserve it.
5. Finish the basement in our house, put in a lawn, get all kinds of decorations, buy new toys for Kobe, buy Jared and I a new wardrobe, and the list could go on and on!

5 Places I have Lived..
1. Beaver
2. Cedar City
3. St. George
4. West Bountiful
5. Bountiful

There's A Great Big Turkey Down On Grandpa's Farm....

If you can't tell by the pictures Kobe was a little Turkey and Jared and I were the hunters for Halloween. Pefect fit huh! I can't tell you how excited I was to show off Kobe in his little costume. From the first month Kobe was born Jared would make a turkey call and Kobe would just smile and now laugh at the sound so when we saw this costume we just had to get it! I was so excited for Halloween so we could show him off. It almost felt like Christmas. My dad is still laughing at the fact that Kobe couldn't get his little arms around the costume's big belly! We had a lot of fun on Halloween visiting with Family and Trunk-Or-Treating! Thanks family for making Kobe's first Halloween so memorable.

Our First Family Vacation

Kobe was only 2 months out when we decided to go on our first family vacation. Yes, we are crazy but we had a lot of fun. Jared earned a trip to Coronado Island, California. We packed up all we could in our little Civic and drove.... and drove....and drove....eight hours later we made it. Kobe was so good, we never had to stop for him. We staid at a super nice hotel called Hotel Del Coronado which is right on the beach of Coronado Island. The next morning we went to Sea World. Jared had never been there before so we had a blast seeing the whales and dolphins. It was definately a trip to remember.

It's Not Huntin....It's An Obsession

It's that time of year!!! Jared did not have a tag this year, but that did not stop the huntin fool. He has been busy chasing bucks all over the Mountain. Jared has had a lot of fun hunting. I told him a couple of years ago that I knew he liked to hunt, but I didn't know he loved to hunt. I guess it is in their blood!!! It has been fun though, we have been able to spend sometime with both of our families looking for monster bucks!
